Description

First Edition, Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

Five crime novels by the multiple-award winning Norwegian author Jo Nesbø. These are: The Snowman (the first G.B. edition, fourth printing, published in 2010 by Harvill Secker, trans. by Don Bartlett), The Leopard (the first G.B. edition, second printing, published in 2010 by Harvill Secker, trans. by Don Bartlett), The Devil's Star (the first U.S. edition, second printing, published in 2010 by HarperCollins, trans. by Don Bartlett), Phantom (The first G.B. edition, fourth printing published in 2012 by Harvill and Secker, trans. by Don Bartlett), and, The Son (The first G.B. edition, first impression, published in 2014, by Harvill Secker, trans. by Charlotte Barslund).

Each with the original unclipped dust wrapper.

With a map of Oslo forming the front and rear pastedowns of 'The Son', and a map of Oslo city centre after the printing information to the front of 'The Snowman', 'Phantom', 'The Leopard', and 'The Devil's Star'.

Jo Nesbø is one of most important figures writing in the genre of Scandinavian crime fiction, having sold over fifty-million copies of his novels worldwide by 2021 and been translated into over fifty different languages. His work is layered and violent, often following the gripping entanglements of an obsessive and morally complex detective character named Harry Hole.
