This set offers a bright trio of ornithological studies, covering the three regions of London, Essex and Turkey. With detailed commentaries of each species reported in these areas, from the suburban to the rural, including the major biomes, habits and up-to-date reports and patterns. 

Written by British ornithologists and naturalists, including Guy M. Kirwan, Simon Wood and Andrew Self. 

In the publisher's original pictorial boards and original unclipped dust wrappers. 'Birds of London' remains in the original sealed wrap. A copy held at the British Library states 'Birds of London' to have 432 pages, with 32 unnumbered pages of plates both black and white and in colour. 

'Birds of Essex' collated and complete with twenty-four colour plates of photographs. With numerous in-text maps and figures to both 'Essex' and 'Birds of Turkey'.

Condition

In the original pictorial boards, with the original unclipped dust wrappers. 'London' remains unopened in the sealed wrap. Externally, 'Essex' and 'Turkey' are excellent, with only minor shelf wear to the spine heads and tails. Dust wrappers are mildly bumped to the edges, with a couple marks to the rear of 'Turkey'. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
