A detailed history of the Mercedes-Benz, highlighting the company's outstanding contributions to the fields of engineering and design, sports and politics, since 1886. Written by Hartmut Lehbrink, a German philologist who has written numerous works on cars and motorsports, and Jochen von Osterroth, a German journalist. Photographs by Rainer W. Schlegelmilch, a German photographer known for his advertising photography. During his studies in Munich, visits to car races led him to discover his passion for motor sports and fast cars.
Condition
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, excellent with minor fading to the board edges. Original unclipped dust wrapper is very smart with minor wear to the extremities and small closed tears to the head of the spine and panel edges. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
