A signed first edition, first impression, of this 2004 title - the first in a 7 title series.

Bound in its original grey pictorial boards, with gilt decoration, this copy is in excellent condition.

This title marked the late P. B. Kerr's first venture into the realm of children's fiction, after a long career writing detective thrillers.

An Egypt-based adventure, following twins, John and Philippa Gaunt, who discover and grapple with their true identities, as Djinn.

Includes ephemera, in the form of 6 of the very scarce 'Children of the Lamp' promotional postcards, in lovely condition.

Condition

Bound in its original grey pictorial boards. Externally, in exceptional condition. Very slight bumping to head and tail. Small mark to gilt decoration at spine. Very slight wear to corner of postcards. Very small mark to one. Internally, firmly bound. Author's signature to half title. Pages very bright and clean. Small mark to top edge.
