This set contains one uncorrected paperback proof copy, and one cloth bound hardback with the original unclipped dust wrapper, both first edition, first impressions published in 2004.
The novel takes place in nineteenth-century London, when a woman is murdered in Whitechapel. It seems Jack the Ripper has returned. However, this 'London' is a virtual reality, crime-free, theme park for tourists.
Condition
In the publisher's original binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper (hardback copy). Externally, excellent, with only minor shelf wear (both) and minor creasing to extremities (paperback proof). Dust wrapper excellent with slight creasing and very minor marginal age toning to reverse of wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright; age toned in proof copy.
