Each volume, with the exception of the Notebook for Fantastical Observations is double signed by the authors, Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black, to the title pages.

This children's fantasy series chronicles the adventures of the Grace children, who move into the Spiderwick Estate to discover a fascinating world of fairies, goblins and other creatures.

Each book is adorned with illustrations throughout by the authors, including in-text and full page. 

With a set of sealed trading cards that were available at select stores for the promotion of these books, containing seven cards. 

This is a near-complete set of works from 'The Spiderwick Chronicles', with the  consisting of: 

Book 1: The Field Guide (2003).

Book 2: The Seeing Stone (2003).

Book 3: Lucinda’s Secret (2003).

Book 4: The Ironwood Tree (2004).

Notebook for Fantastical Observations (2005). This copy is inscribed in pencil from a young previous owner, whose annotations are quite humorous.
