Yousuf Karsh was a renowned Canadian portrait photographer viewed as one of the greatest portrait photographers of the twentieth century
Born in Turkey, Karsh emigrated to Canada in his late teens and established himself as a master of his craft.
Throughout his career, he photographed numerous influential figures, including politicians, artists, and celebrities. He produced portraits of figures including Queen Elizabeth I, Winston Churchill, Albert Einstein, Audrey Hepburn, and Martin Luther King Jr.
Karsh's distinctive lighting techniques have resulted in his captivating images continuing to be admired for their artistic and historical significance.
Condition
In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally, excellent, with minor fold to laminate covering to tail of front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages exceptionally clean and bright.
