An uncorrected proof copy of Daniel Handler's coming of age comedy Watch Your Mouth, in the publisher's original paperback binding.
Daniel Handler is better known by the pseudonym Lemony Snicket, under which he published the famous A Series of Unfortunate Events children's book series.
Watch Your Mouth was first published in the US in 2000. This is the uncorrected proof copy of the first UK edition, published in 2001.
The novel tells the story of protagonist Joseph's college summer spent with his Jewish girlfriend Cynthia Glass in her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Handler has described it as an 'opera in book form.'
Condition
An uncorrected proof copy in the publisher's original paperback binding. Externally, very smart, with some light creasing to joints and extremities and minor shelf wear. The odd handling mark to boards. A corrective ink inscription 'May' made to front board, crossing out incorrect date of 'March.' Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
