The work imagines God taking a tour of planet Earth with two children and finding dirty water, foul air, forests chopped and burned, and hungry people is in dismay. The two children set off to tell the adults how to change.
John Burningham is an English author and children's book illustrator. In both 1963 and 1970 Burningham won Kate Greenaway Medals for British children's book illustration.
