First edition. Very scarce. Illustrated with one full colour pop-up scene, with ten pull tabs, and one spinning dial. Collated complete and in perfect working condition. When the purple mountain monster leaves his cave one dark night, he has a most surprising adventure and make a special friend. Written by Donna Boswell, a British children's author. Illustrated by Hamish Vigne Christie "Korky" Paul, a British illustrator of children's books.
Condition
In the original pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, very smart with light wear to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd small spot or handling mark. All pop-up and moveable features are in perfect working condition. Previous owner's small bookplate to the front pastedown.
