Often recognised as one of the finest wildlife artists in Britain, Rodger McPhail is notable for his paintings of sporting life, fowl, fish and dogs. This work, written by Ian Alcock, celebrates McPhail's life and achievements, primarily his paintings, which vary between the picturesque and the humorous.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent. Barely noticeable bump to the lower extremity of the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Dust wrapper is in lovely bright condition, apart from a line of white paint and a small closed tear to the rear of the wrap.
