This collection presents Newton's start as a young photographer, explains how he managed to extend the boundaries of fashion photography, and how he became a master of his craft in the late twentieth century. The New York Times described Newton as a "prolific, widely imitated fashion photographer whose provocative, erotically charged black-and-white photos were a mainstay of Vogue and other publications."
