John le Carre's speech given at the annual dinner of the Anglo-Israel Association at the Savoy on the 10th November 1997.

An insightful address by the beloved author, in which he explores the State of Israel, as well as his own use of Jewish characters in his novels.

Carre is best known for his espionage novels, including 'The Spy Who Came in from the Cold' and 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy'.

Condition

In the original publisher's quarter morocco binding, with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, smart. Spine is faded, with a couple of light marks. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
