These stories, frequently centring on female characters, tells of a washed up Hollywood actress taking up residence in a chain hotel, a mother and daughter's trip to Ireland to kiss the Blarney Stone, and a woman who goes through the stages of grief as she mourns the death of her cat, amongst others.
