This is a first edition, signed by the author, Wyndham Fletcher.

In the publisher's original binding, hand-sewn with linen thread into a stiff 100 pound-Curtis Flannel cover and printed on Mohawk 100-pound Superfine Text paper.

This edition is one of two hundred and eighty six numbered copies signed by the author, of which twenty copies, distinguished by Roman Numerals I-XX, are for the publisher's distribution. This volume is number XVIII.

This is a limited-edition memoir that offers a personal account of the author's experiences in the port shipping industry, spanning four and a half decades, providing unique insight into the port shipping industry of the 20th century, its operations, standards and challenges.

Condition

In the publisher's original Curtis Flannel paper wraps. Externally, excellent. Slight rubbing to the boards, minor bumping to extremities and very faint handling marks. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
