Externally, both are excellent, with minor shelf wear. The proof is fine. The first edition has a gold mark to the head of the front and rear boards. The dust wrapper is excellent, with light edge wear and creasing. A small closed tear to the tail of the spine and the front flyleaf of the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean, with author's signature to title page.
