    With a bookplate signed by illustrator Helen Oxenbury to the front free endpaper.

    Illustrated throughout by Oxenbury in colour.

    This work won the 0–5 category of the Nestle Smarties Book Prize, the She/WH Smith’s Under-Fives Book Prize, and the Kurt Maschler Award. It was also 'Highly Commended' for the Kate Greenaway Medal.

    In the publisher's original pictorial paper covered boards, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Light shelf wear to back strip tail, otherwise externally fine. Dust wrapper in exceptional condition. Signed bookplate to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
