Helen Fielding is a English novelist and screenwriter, best known for the creation of fictional character, Bridget Jones. She is a regular writer for a number of newspapers and has worked on all three Bridget Jones film adaptations. Fielding is known for her honest narratives on the difficulties faced by women in modern society.

Cause Celeb was Fielding's debut novel, written two years prior to Bridget Jones. This work follows the life of Rosie Richardson, who breaks up with her tv-presenter boyfriend and sets off for Africa on the hunt for adventure.

In original publisher's cloth binding with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, lovely condition, with very minor shelf wear only. Dust wrapper in near fine condition, with minor shelf wear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
