Illustrated by Jemima Blackburn with a colour frontispiece and many vignette and full page colour illustrations. 

With a catalogue for the 'Jemima' exhibition on the 3rd August 1999 at the Malcolm Innes Gallery, with colour depictions of her works. 

This beautifully illustrated work showcases the bird painting of Jemima Blackburn. Blackburn was a popular Scottish Victorian painter who is known for her ornithological works such as 'Birds from nature'. 

In the publisher's original cloth.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. The wrap is excellent with slight marks and only the slightest shelf wear. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with only minimal spotting to the half title.
