'Home Rule' tells the story of the Devlin family, living in Dublin in the 1890's. 'Mama' married beneath her, bringing her from Kensington to the heart of Dublin with her nine children and husband. The story follows the eighth youngest child, Daisy, who is different from her siblings and joins a convent. However, Daisy is tempted by an handsome young soldier, which changes her future completely.
From the library of Hungarian-Canadian author Stephen Vizinczey, best known for his 'In Praise of Older Women', and 'An Innocent Millionaire'. His writing was praised by the likes of Graham Greene and Anthony Burgess, describing his fiction as social epics which breathe hope in a corrupt world.
