The first edition, first impression of this work, in the publisher's original unclipped dust wrapper.

Illustrated throughout by Quentin Blake.

Published posthumously, the work follows dyslexic vicar Reverend Lee, who pronounces words backwards, not realising that it is affecting his sermons.

The work was written to benefit the Dyslexia Institute in London, with Dahl and Blake donating their rights.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fine. Small closed tear to fold over tail of front joint, with minor chip to tail of front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
