This set includes the first edition, first impressions (with complete number lines) of My Son's Story (1990) and The House Gun (1998). 

Nadine Gordimer is a Nobel Prize winning author.

My Son's Story was written during the end of the state of emergency in South Africa during the Apartheid. The story follows a family torn apart by political struggle, Apartheid, and an affair. 

The House Gun is also set in South Africa, in which the middle class professionals Harald and Claudia Lindgard must get used to post-apartheid society.


Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding with the original, unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, excellent with minor shelf wear to extremities. Dust wrappers excellent with marginal age toning to The House Gun reverse of wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright, with marginal age toning (The House Gun).
