Written and illustrated by Margaret Ursula Mee, a British botanical artist who specialised in plants from the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest, and was one of the first environmentalists to draw attention to the impact of large-scale mining and deforestation on the Amazon Basin. Edited by Tony Morrison, a British editor.

In the original green cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
