What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

The first trade edition of the work. Published simultaneously with a signed limited edition run of one hundred copies.

Illustrated with a monochrome frontispiece and monochrome vignettes.

In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper.

This novel was written by Iain Sinclair and is his debut novel, based upon his experiences working in the antiquarian book trade. The work takes the occasionally obsessive nature of the book dealer and combines it with the mystery of jack the Ripper as the protagonists look for literary obscurities of the period.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. The wrap is very smart with a tear to the front, slight handling marks to the rear and edge wear. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages.
