Written by Sir John William Fortescue, a British military historian who was a historian of the British Army and served as Royal Librarian and Archivist at Windsor Castle. With Wellington in the Pyrenees, 1993. Later printing. Illustrated with a frontispiece, twenty-nine images across fifteen plates, and eight plans to the rear. Collated complete. The classic history of the Battle of the Pyrenees, one crucial week in the six-year-long campaign to relieve Spain of French occupation and rule. He also authored several books on military history.
