Three volumes. First edition. Gollancz Crime. This set contains: Wycliffe and the Winsor Blue, 1987. Wycliffe and the Tangled Web, 1988. Shortly after informing her boyfriend and sister of her pregnancy, a young woman from a quiet Cornish village goes missing. When a body surfaces, Wycliffe thinks he may have solved the vanishing, but his theory is soon dashed after an identification proves it isn't her. Wycliffe and the Cycle of Death, 1990. A local bookseller, Matthew Glynn, is found bludgeoned and strangled, setting Wycliffe on the trail of a killer whose identity is embedded deep within a mountain of family secrets.
