'Going Solo' is a continuation to Dahl's childhood autobiography, 'Boy'. This volume begins with Dahl's travels to Africa and later describes his service as a World War II pilot. His exploits include taking part in the Battle of Athens and fighting Vichy French pilots in the Middle East after Greece fell to the Nazis. 

Roald Dahl was an eminent author of children's literature, short stories and poems, with beloved classics including 'Matila', 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and 'James and the Giant Peach'. 

Condition

In the publisher's proof wraps. Externally, very smart, with moderate shelf wear and rubbing to the spine. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
