Written by Charles Thomas (1928-2016), a British historian and archaeologist who was Professor of Cornish Studies at Exeter University, and the first Director of the Institute of Cornish Studies, from 1971 until his retirement in 1991.

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is in lovely condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Dust wrapper remains very bright and smart.
