First UK edition. Illustrated with twenty-eight photographs on plates. Collated complete. A nonfiction book on the rivalry between bullfighters Luis Miguel Dominguin and his brother-in-law, Antonio Ordonez, during the summer of 1959. It has been cited as Hemingway's last book. Written by Ernest Hemingway, an American novelist, short-story writer, and journalist. His economical and understated style which included his iceberg theory had a strong influence on twentieth-century fiction.

Condition

In the original full cloth biding. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrapper is very smart with minor wear and sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with minor age toning to the extremities.
