This volume beautifully depicts the birdlife observations made of a temporary small sand-shoal just off the Swedish coast. Presented here as a striking series of coloured watercolours and sketches from renowned artist and ornithologist, Lars Jonsson.
Each entry which accompanies the illustrations are dated and describe the birdlife found from the sand-shoal's appearance through the months of July and August.
Condition
In the original pictorial cloth boards. With the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart, with mild shelf wear only. Dust wrapper is also very smart, with sunning to the spine and mild bumping to the spine head and tail. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
