Bound in the publisher's cloth, with the original dust wrapper, four of which remain unclipped.
Written by British novelist and travel writer, Colin Thubron, known for his prolific travel books and for his contributions to periodicals including The Times, the New York Review and others.
Comprised of the following:
'Among the Russians' (1984), the third impression, published the year after the first.
'Turning Back the Sun' (1991), first edition, first impression.
'The Lost Heart of Asia' (1994), the first edition, first impression.
'In Siberia' (1999), the first edition, first impression.
'Shadow of the Silk Road' (2006), the first edition, first impression.
With a number of illustrations to accompany each work, including four maps to 'Shadow of the Silk Road', two maps and map endpapers to 'The Lost Heart of Asia' and map endpapers to 'In Siberia'.
Condition
Bound in the publisher's cloth, with the original dust wrapper, four of which remain unclipped, with 'Among the Russians' price-clipped. Externally, lovely, with minor shelf wear and the odd mark. Dust wrapper's are excellent, with light edge wear, the odd mark and a little sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound with bright, clean pages. Author's signature to title pages.
