    The first edition, first printing.

    Published simultaneously in cloth with a dust wrapper and in paper wraps, this is the less common paper wraps variant. 

    Loosely inserted is a small publisher's review slip, alongside a double sided sheet with a typed overview of the work and its author.

    A collection of nine tales from American writer Lewis Nordan, who published this collection at the age of 45. It quickly established him as a writer in the Southern tradition of William Faulkner and Flannery O'Connor.

    In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally, fine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages exceptionally clean and bright.
