Written by C. De. M., or Friedrich Karl Ferdinand Freiherr von Muffling, a Prussian Generalfeldmarschall and military theorist. With an account of the origin of publication and some particulars regarding Bonaparte's conduct during the Battle by Colonel Sir John Sinclair, a British politician, military officer and writer who was one of the first people to use the word "statistics" in the English language.
