This entertaining and unusual way of presenting this case reads as though it was sent to Conan Doyle by John Watson himself, and includes four pieces of bagged evidence, adhered to the rear paste down.
Based on original material by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, with dossier design by Malcolm Couch, photography by Martin Chambers and research by Caroline Bidwell.
All clues are present, including the gold wedding ring, poison pill and two calling cards.
With a stamp of Megan and Michael Dawson to the front paste down.
Condition
Bound in the publisher's original paper wraps, with ribbon tie, housed in the original slip case. Externally, excellent, with a little creasing and shelf wear to the extremities. Stamp to front paste down. Internally, firmly bound with bright, clean pages. Collated, complete. Slip case is a little worn, with lifting to the spine, rubbing to the extremities and the odd tear. Tape repair to slip case.
