Originally published in 1972, this edition is the 12th impression of this work, published in 1982.

This edition features 973 pages of scripture, accompanied by detailed line drawings and maps by Horace Knowles. Knowles (1884 – 1954 ) was an author and illustrator, highly regarded for his distinctive art-nouveau style and biblical illustrations.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, excellent. One or two handling marks to boards, slight rubbing to spine. Slipcase, smart. Rubbing and bumping to extremities and boards resulting in some loss to cloth. Slight damp staining with the odd spot to boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
