In the original cloth binding. With the original clipped dust wrappers.
Includes Kipling's popular duology 'The Jungle Book' and 'The Second Jungle Book' as well as his first collection of short stories, 'Plain Tales from the Hills', which contains works such as 'The Three Musketeers', 'The Broken-link Handicap' and 'Cupid's Arrows'.
'Jungle Book' duology is decorated throughout by John Lockwood Kipling, an English art teacher, illustrator, museum curator and the father of Rudyard, including numerous full-page and in-text drawings.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. With the original clipped dust wrappers. Externally, excellent, with only faint shelf wear. Dust wrappers are very smart, with light edge wear. Sunning to the spine and scattered spots to 'Jungle Book' and a minor closed tears to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages. With only faint scattered spotting to endpapers of 'Jungle Book'.
