This work is presented without chapter breaks and follows three storylines. The first storyline is Leon Trotsky on a journey to New York City shortly before the Russian Revolution of 1917. This tale is written as the libretto of an Off-Broadway musical. The second tale covers the life and career of Sigmund Freud and includes portrayals of Havelock Ellis and Krafft-Ebing. The third part is set in the future prior to the impact of extrasolar planet with earth. Anthony Burgess was an English writer and composer. His real name was John Anthony Burgess Wilson.

Condition

In publisher's cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear to the head and tail of spine. Dustwrapper is very smart with just some minor shelfwear. A few light spots internally to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are slightly age toned to edges. Spotting to the endpapers and first few pages. Otherwise, just a few light spots to foredge.
