David Beaty (1919-1999) was a British author and pilot. He wrote twenty novels with aviation at the heart under the names Paul Stanton and Robert Stanton, as well as a number of non-fiction works on flight safety and pilot error, including 'The Human Factor in Aircraft Accidents', which caused a great deal of controversy but has since revolutionised the way pilots are trained and treated as though susceptible to human error.

Condition

In a full cloth binding. Externally very smart, slight bumping to the extremities. Dust wrapper is in excellent condition with only minor bumping to the head of the spine. Author's inscription to the title page. Internally firmly bound, pages are bright and clean.
