This historical novel is written by British author Len Deighton. Deighton's time in the Royal Air Force has often inspired his work. This work is set in 1944 and tells the story of a Fighter Group of the US Air Force. The central storyline revolves around a romance between a captain and an English girl. The title was inspired by another major plot line involving a character with the nickname 'Mickey Mouse'.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally generally smart with a slight lean, bumping heavier to the extremities and a mark to both the boards. Pencil bibliographical annotations and sticker remains to the front free end paper. The odd spot to end papers. The dust wrap is in lovely condition with very minor creasing and bumping.
