A facsimile edition from the 1858 Edmonston and Douglas edition. A charming work educating children on form, comparison, and number through a series of coloured plates, with explanations by Nicholas Bohny. Featuring thirty-six coloured plates. 

In the original publisher's binding complete with slicpase.

Condition

In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding over paper covered boards, with colourful illustration to the front board. Externally lovely. The slipcase is sound with some shelf wear, minor closed tear to the rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Fully illustrated in colour.
