A wonderfully illustrated work, including a coloured frontispiece, a sketched map of the Pytchley Hunt to the endpapers, and charming pencil drawings throughout. 

Containing the diary entries, anecdotes of friends and various contemporary accounts of the huntsman of the Pytchley hounds from 1931-1960, Stanley Barker. 

Compiled by hunting photographer and writer on the subject, Stuart Newsham.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart, with only light bumping to the extremities. Dust wrapper is also very smart, with light edge wear only. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
