This collection of poetry was written by English poet and broadcaster John Betjeman. Betjeman was the Poet Laureate from 1972 until his death. This work includes a collections of the Betjeman's poems on churches that have been published together in this volume, alongside several poems first printed in 'Poems in the Porch'.
