A signed first edition exhibition catalogue for a retrospective of British photographer Bill Brandt's work. This was the opening exhibition of the R. P. S. National Centre of Photography, held between 15th April and 4th July, 1981, two years before his death.
Signed by Brandt to the title page.
With an introduction to Brandt's life and art from David Mellor, this work is illustrated throughout with Brandt's photographs, with examples of his famous landscapes, portraits and nudes. He is widely considered to be one of the most important British photographers of the 20th century.

In the publisher's original paper wraps. Minor mark to tail of rear wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Signed to title page. Pages bright and clean.
