The first edition, first impression of this work in the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper.
Illustrated throughout with black-and-white photographs.
Mary Comino's study of the work of Ernest Gimson, Ernest Barnsley and Sidney Barnsley, who were involved in furniture design and the revival of traditional crafts. Although they developed their own distinctive styles, the designs of all three of these architects were greatly influenced by the Arts and Crafts Movement and their love of nature.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is very smart and bright. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with the odd spot to the fore edge, affecting the occasional page. Dust wrapper is in excellent condition.
