With an introduction by Ivan Hall, this volume holds 420 pages of facsimile sketches by Samuel Buck, an English engraver. Often associated with his brother Nathaniel, known together as the Buck Brothers, and producing their most notable work Buck's Antiquities.
The brothers were the leading British topographical draughtsmen of the 18th century.

In publisher's cloth binding. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent. Light shelf wear to the head and tail of the spine. Dust wrapper is smart. Archival repair to head of spine. Closed tear to rear board of wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
