Written by Christopher Gallard Gilbert, a museum curator and furniture historian; published in association with Christie's.

Lavishly illustrated, with colour illustrations to the first volume, and black and white throughout the second.

Complete in two volumes presented in the original slipcase.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding with a slipcase. Externally very smart. Slipcase has a little minor wear to the edges as to be expected. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. A tear to page 53 of volume two.
