This volume chronicles the development of cameras produced by Zeiss Ikon Company and its precedents, notably Contessa-Nettel, Goerz, Erneman and Ica.
Accompanied by many illustrations showing the various cameras manufactured by the company, described with the background history in each chapter.
Written by D. B. Tubbs, who wrote a number of books on Vintage Cars, a Guide to Kent Pubs, as well as the translation for Michel Auer's monumental 'The Illustrated History of the Camera, 1839 to the Present'.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. With the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with minor shelf wear only. Dust wrapper is very smart, with light edge wear and slight sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
