'Daniel Martin' follows the titular character, a Hollywood screenwriter who returns to England. The novel contains flashbacks to the childhood in the 1940s and his time at the University of Oxford, and reflections on his ex-wife and her sister, whom he was in love with.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Light shelf wear to back strip tail, with minor bump to back strip head. Light spotting to fore edge of text block. Otherwise, externally excellent. Inscribed to the front free endpaper. Dust wrapper only a touch sunned to back strip, with wraps exceptionally bright. Light spotting and significant tide mark to dust wrapper back strip reverse, barely discernible to the front. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
