    A facsimile of the 1937 first edition of this work, in the original unclipped dust wrapper.

    Featuring vignette illustrations from a variety of artists, including Mr. de Cronin Hastings, Mr E. McKnight Kauffer, Mr Osbert Lancaster, and Mr Gabriel Pippet, with several other images taken from various pre-war sources.

    A charming volume of thirty-three pre-war poems from Betjeman.

    In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fine. Flat signed to front free endpaper. Dust wrapper back strip lightly age toned, with light rubbing to back strip head. Small closed tear to head of front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
