    A facsimile of the 1937 first edition of this work, in the original unclipped dust wrapper.

    With the publisher's original bookmark loosely inserted.

    Featuring vignette illustrations from a variety of artists, including Mr. de Cronin Hastings, Mr E. McKnight Kauffer, Mr Osbert Lancaster, and Mr Gabriel Pippet, with several other images taken from various pre-war sources.

    A charming volume of thirty-three pre-war poems from Betjeman.

    In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fine. Dust wrapper exceptionally bright, with light spotting to dust wrapper reverse and perimeters of rear wrap, and with a spot to the fore edge of the front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
